Capital Improvements Blog - Gondi Line photos and Boyne Beds

Fall has come in rather quickly here in the mountains, and colors have really popped over the past few days. Not quite peak yet, but we're not far off. Homecoming, anyone?

Projects continue to move along on the mountain, with the new Peavey valve box nearing completion and the new line going in on Sidewinder. All of the new pipe is now nearly in place, and the next step will be welding hydrants. And with as cold as temps have been latetly, it might not be long until we give these babies a test run.

Until that happens, check out these pics that our snowmaking guru Dano dropped off of the Gondi Line Ext project. Very cool.

And in other news, the much-anticipated Boyne Beds arrived at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel in three separate shipments over the past several weeks, and we're happy to report that they're now all ready for business (and well worth a try).

I have a question on how far down the mountain phase 1 will go. The map shows it all the way to Snowbrook /lower part of Woody Creek. Is this really where it will end or will it somehow end onto the Stubb's Glase condo access trail? Mtnbrew

Does anyone know what the impact to the cross-country trails and the dog trail above Snowbrook will be? Will we still be able to hike Burnt in Winter?
