It seems like it would have made more sense to shut SQ down on a slow tuesday and put the sheaves on and have less windholds then to leave it for later and have more windholds

Hey, Matt,
You're correct ... the last time I saw you was at your family Sugar Shack( Maple Syrup) Party. You & John made high tech maple syrup & entertained my grandson, Nick. Becky cooked pancakes while Eric & Smokey sang a few tunes. It definitely was a fun way to celebrate Spring...............

Think Snow; approximately six feet of powder!

Hi, Matt, If you are from Albion you must be related to Eric, Becky & John. I taught with your Dad at Waterville Jr. High School for a few years. Give my best to your family. It's great that you love skiing at Sugarloaf. Maybe you could get a job as a Good Will Ambassador. You would receive a free season pass for your public relation efforts. I have been skiing at Sugarloaf since 1956 when a junior lift ticket was only $1.50. How times have changed since the early days............I'm heading to The Loaf on the12th for three days of skiing plus I will be working on a story called Sugarloaf Revisited. Have a blast on the mountain this winter! Stay CooooooL!!! Watch out for the icy moguls on Sluice & Narrow Gauge.

I have a question on how far down the mountain phase 1 will go. The map shows it all the way to Snowbrook /lower part of Woody Creek. Is this really where it will end or will it somehow end onto the Stubb's Glase condo access trail? Mtnbrew

Ethan, Can you please clarify how access will be gained to the new gladed area? I understand that you can access most of it via the top of King Pine, but what about at the bottom? My understanding is that for now is that this area is accessible by…

Does anyone know what the impact to the cross-country trails and the dog trail above Snowbrook will be? Will we still be able to hike Burnt in Winter?

Anyone up there ever thought about putting a disc golf course on the mountain for use in the summer time. Alot of ski resorts are doing this now and sugarloaf would be a great place for a course. Just an idea wondering what everyone else thought abo…
