I just laughed out loud...at my desk job!! Epic video! I am probably one of those people that hits refresh all week all week long. Welcome to the Loaf! Hope to see you on the slopes!
I think the only thing the loaf is missing is a "Winer" tab on the top of the Community Page. That way all the winers can easily direct themselves there and wine away while the rest of us enjoy good conversation with other skiiers alike - keeping ...
I am interning with the Maine Center for Economic Policy in Augusta (see, I work for the man too!) - but I am just finishing up my last project with them today! So next week I will be living up at the mtn full-time again, which I am stoked for. Come spring, I'm either gonna take a position with Ameriprise Financial Planners or move to Chile and teach skiing down there. hahaha - decisions, decisions.
Hahahaha - no, I don't avoid the weekend warriors! There's no room to be smug on the best mountain in the East. I was able to ski Friday, Sunday, and Monday but I had orientation on Saturday so I missed some turns. As you know, Sunday's hurricane was a bummer, but Monday was pretty epic so I am happy about that. Also, I think they are gonna get close to a foot of fresh pow with this latest storm, so I'm hoping to finish up my internship quick and get back up there ASAP!! I was looking for your green coat, but I obviously didn't find you - so next time you are up look for me. When I'm not working up there, I ski in a bright orange coat with a Sugarloaf/usa patch on my arm (oh, and green pants!). Hopefully we'll get the chance to make some turns together soon! Until then, take care and keep trekking up for the weekends!!
you should be able to click the little edit button in the upper right corner of the "my photos" box and choose whether you want to display albums, thumbnails, or a slideshow
Are you guys coming up this weekend? Give me shout if you are. The old banners are actually being used as tarps, believe it or not. You probably wouldn't have wanted it anyway - it's 11x17 feet. Not really much you can do with that....
Haha - no no, i'm not trying to diss. Hats off to you for driving all the way up every weekend after probably a long week of hell - it really can't be easy! ( i know, so that's why I avoid it) Sorry that you work for the man. Bummer. At least you got the Sugarloaf Facebook to keep you entertained!
haha - i may actually get a few runs in without a camera this year
You're still 40 feet tall somewhere but alas no longer on the base lodge. New banners for this year will be up soon!
Norton, if you could message me. I can give you a list of new jib features that we'd like to see. it is made from the minds of 10 people who live in the midcoast region, but are 110% sugarloafers.
-please get back to me.
