Unless we get a major blower opening day will be the weekend before T-Day. After last year I would be happy with that.

Heard the same rumore with enough detail to suggest it is true. The zipline is marked between poleline and skiway, running over the Gondi creek.

Again, it isn't outrageously expensive to build and operate a sugarhouse. My in-laws run a 200 gallon operation, with over 550 taps...it is a relatively cheap start-up that can be recouped in a season or two. King Pine was moreso a one-and-done sit…

Hi. Your observations are pretty accurate. The picture was taken from a snowmobile trail on the south side of south crocker mtn. You can see the trail(s) clearly (on a clear day) from the top of timberline. If you are not framiliar w the area I'd suggest a fall hike up the A.T. from carribou bog road. turn on the road at the (almost) top of Bigellow Hill on 27 and go about 6 miles. the road is pretty good and you can probably make it in a car. You'll know you're close when you cross the steel grate bridge. The A.T. is pretty obvious w sort of small but obvious parking . the trail is marked w white blazes. moderat hike. a few hrs. you can make a loop out of it if you use the spur up to the sugarloaf summit (.5 mi), but you'll need a shuttle back to your car. If you've got a snowmoble, all bets ar off. just go. I've been up there more than a few times and I still take my gps. lot of logging roads, twists and turns. def. oneof our to 3 hikes / rides. enjoy. bob

I have a question on how far down the mountain phase 1 will go. The map shows it all the way to Snowbrook /lower part of Woody Creek. Is this really where it will end or will it somehow end onto the Stubb's Glase condo access trail? Mtnbrew

Ethan, Can you please clarify how access will be gained to the new gladed area? I understand that you can access most of it via the top of King Pine, but what about at the bottom? My understanding is that for now is that this area is accessible by…

Does anyone know what the impact to the cross-country trails and the dog trail above Snowbrook will be? Will we still be able to hike Burnt in Winter?

Anyone up there ever thought about putting a disc golf course on the mountain for use in the summer time. Alot of ski resorts are doing this now and sugarloaf would be a great place for a course. Just an idea wondering what everyone else thought abo…
