they aren't a higher elevation but the base is higher than sugarloafs base. and yeah sugaroaf lies terribly i don't know how saddleback could lie more. i believe the 245 inches

Im curious, how is it that Saddleback is less than 20 miles away (at least by a straight line), and gets significantly more snow than Sugarloaf (which is what many are saying)?

Update on Operations Challenges Today - 2/27/10

As all of you know by now, this has been a pretty incredible week for us here at Sugarloaf. A monster four day storm left us with 50 inches of new snow since Wednesday morning, giving us far and away the best skiing conditions of the season.
