Have a friend or family member who wants to give skiing or snowboarding a try? Have them check out the new Maine Learn to Ski and Ride Card.
The card is a new partnership between Sugarloaf, Sunday River, Lost Valley, Titcomb, and Camden Snow Bowl that provides a great way for people new to the sport to learn at a smaller community mountain before graduating to a bigger resort.
It includes three days packaged into the one card, for $89.
Day 1: Ticket, rental, and lesson at Titcomb, Lost Valley, or Camden Snow Bowl
Day 2: Ticket and rental at Titcomb, Lost Valley, or Camden Snow Bowl
Day 3: Ticket and rental at either Sugarloaf or Sunday River.
Nice idea -- although it would be even better if it included additional lessons for day 2 and especially for day 3, when they "graduate" to the bigger mountains, where a green trail doesn't mean the same thing as it did at the other areas.
How about entitling cardholders to a discount for their follow up lessons?
i dont think they can really disconnect them. they just need to make it so the traffic is directed AWAY from landings and knolls. and a hip transfer or C box could do that nicely.. then it could all be jumps on one side, rails on the other, with a...
