Absolutely unbelievable day today. Headed up bright and early this morning to check out the backside, and it was sooo worth it. It's absolutely buried back there - probably the best condition I've ever seen it in. After all of this snow and two days of steady winds it's all totally blown in. First pitch is a bit bony in spots as usual, but the second pitch is mostly fluffy and easy to punch through. Truly amazing.

Some photos from this morning.

I'm going to be smiling for days....

Great pictures and holy crap that looks steep!

My guess is the skier in the helmet is Tinker?

The skier in the helmet is Tinker, who you can book a private lesson or a moose hunting trip with, and the skier in the hat is Gerry, who will put a mean base grind on your skis down at Happy Tunes and teach you to rip a bump line for Perfect Turn all in the same day!

I have a question on how far down the mountain phase 1 will go. The map shows it all the way to Snowbrook /lower part of Woody Creek. Is this really where it will end or will it somehow end onto the Stubb's Glase condo access trail? Mtnbrew

Ethan, Can you please clarify how access will be gained to the new gladed area? I understand that you can access most of it via the top of King Pine, but what about at the bottom? My understanding is that for now is that this area is accessible by…
