Nice pictures Matt.

I have never been back there. Everything has to add up and I have never hit it right.

If 2 skiers were to take to the backside.......is it well marked, roped off. Can a first timer navigate the terrain well enough to come out on Ripsaw??

those pictures were my first time back there (did it 5 times) It easy to find your way just stay out of the trees and your will see boundry signs and that will funeul you out a above haulback

I didn't make it to the backside last weekend (chose not to), but saw some video from people who did..... looked good.

My advice for first timers is to go with someone who's been there before. Its 100% natural terrain and can be unpredictable.

But definitely do it! You'll never forget your 'first time'.

DAMN MOTHA NATURE! I booked a room and called in sick yesterday...mother nature decides shes going to blow 60+ mph winds at the summit...what a cruel jokester she is=backside CLOSED. Called the snowphone at 8 AM lizzy says the loaf is 100% open..she lied to me and broke my heart! Got busted trying to hike to the top too! Great conditions but very dissappointed

I have a question on how far down the mountain phase 1 will go. The map shows it all the way to Snowbrook /lower part of Woody Creek. Is this really where it will end or will it somehow end onto the Stubb's Glase condo access trail? Mtnbrew

Anyone up there ever thought about putting a disc golf course on the mountain for use in the summer time. Alot of ski resorts are doing this now and sugarloaf would be a great place for a course. Just an idea wondering what everyone else thought abo…
