this is to the park managers/builders/park doods.

what can we expect for this years park? like how many features set up, will you set all the rails and jibs you have up and ready to shred?

how many jumps?
how many rails and jibs?
what kind of features and jumps?

i dont think they can really disconnect them. they just need to make it so the traffic is directed AWAY from landings and knolls. and a hip transfer or C box could do that nicely.. then it could all be jumps on one side, rails on the other, with a height difference in the middle. to keep from having the people on the rail side. go onto the jump landings. (and the height difference could make for some wicked fun ideas).

the REALLY long flat bar rail should also be set up with a jump about 8 feet from it to get on, so it has to be hit with speed, and like an 8 foot gap off onto a nice down slope for a landing. you could get some steezy spins off that bad boy.

we should get some nice street entry down rails too. and set the flat down up like it was in haywire last year, with the regular jump straight onto it. and with the street style ramps on from either side for just the down section of it.

- Tree stalls, plastic culverts, oil tanks, a little old boat, tires, small quarter pipe with jibs and stalls on the lip, mounds of snow that aren't even official jumps, and a tap, like a jump with a tap in the middle of the table would be sick

also- the wavy piano rail?... YES PLEASE!!

im assuming where the first jump was in stomping grounds it would end there since there is a trail connecting to candyside.

well this is all snow and weather dependant of course, but our plan is to have the stopming grounds start at the top of the mini pipe and end on the first cut to candyside. its also known as the black fork. haywire will go from tote like last year but it will end at candyside. i am thinking the mini pipe will have a sick snake run with jibs on it and were hoping to have jibs on both sides of the mini as well. im hoping for a small to medium sized jump line or 2 jumps in a row for the stomping grounds and maybe a hip twards the end. remember this is all weather dependant and right now i just want some cold weather so we can open. i just wanna make some turns.........oh and early season jib park somewhere

Whats gonna be in the haywire portion? and will you still be allowed to cut across from stomping to haywire?

are ALL the rails gonna go up this year?.. cause we all know sugarloaf has tons of sick rails that lie untouched all season.

if we have rails that are not in its usually cause the need something done like plywood or welding or plastic.........usually

a few more rail pads leading to a start area for the jump line on haywire and we are gonna close the narrow section between stomping grounds and haywire. we talked and talked about it and it the only way we can get a true jump line and keep traffic from getting in the way. i think im cool with it cause it will give us two truly different parks. a real intermediate and real advanced park.

I recently noticed that Sunday River had a mobile website which has current lift and trail stats. Does Sugarloaf have anything like this? I think it would be quite useful.   Ethan?
